SPRINGTIME IN THE COUNTRY, April 28-30, 2006 Fri. from 4pm-9pm and from 10am-5pm, on Sat. & Sun. has developed into the "official start" of the crafting season where artisans debut the "new lines" for the year. Ranked in the top 50 shows by Sunshine Artist magazine, over 15,000 attended last year to see and buy the hand-crafted items of over 200 artisans.
LAZY RIVER ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL, September 16 & 17, 2006 from 10am-5pm both days. Set in beautiful Mill Race Park on the banks of the White River, The Lazy River Arts & Crafts Festival truly is a community event. The Lazy River Arts & Crafts Festival will focus on fine art & fine crafts. Many unique attractions will be incorporated into the weekend including hot air balloons, fall festival activities, family fun, entertainment and much more. We believe the unique combination will give us the opportunity for tremendous media coverage adding to the event_s attendance and 'buzz.'
HARVEST CRAFT FESTIVAL, September 23 & 24, 2006 from 10 am to 5 pm both days is featured at the Amherst Museum. This fantastic weekend has˛County Fair" flair and is nestled in the Amherst Museum with its 35 acres of historically restored homes, churches, schools and extensive collections. This show is just in time for the peek foliage tour. There will be country entertainment, ethnic food, farmers selling their harvest crops and crafters selling their autumn and Halloween products. The crisp air will be filled with the sights, sounds and smells of autumn. Harvest Festival is a show you do not want to miss.
CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY, November 2-5, 2006 is New York State's highest quality craft show, held at the Agri-Center on the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York. It is the "official" kickoff to the holiday shopping season. More than 350 of the premier artisans from throughout the nation will be displaying their hand-crafted items to over 55,000 people that attend this past year. CAROLINA CHRISTMAS SHOW, November 11 & 12, 2006 from 10-am-5pm both days. Since 2001 the Carolina Christmas Show has been a success! Utilizing the great November weather, the show will feature more than 100 artisans both indoors & outdoors.
YULETIDE IN THE COUNTRY, December 2 & 3, 2006 from 10am to 5pm is the perfect opportunity for "power shoppers" to avoid the overcrowded malls and find something unique for people on their lists. Over 200 artisans displayed their hand-crafted items to more than 12,000 people last year. This show is so popular that many call Christmas in the Country II!
